VoIP provider cuts the cost of Mother's Day

12/03/2007 – The internet telephone provider Tpad has cut its charges for calls to anywhere in the world for Mother's Day. Anybody who uses the VoIP provider will receive 50% off their call charges for the 18 March, Mothering Sunday, irrespective of where in the world they call.
Steven Johns, Marketing Manager for Tpad said: "Mother's Day is an important day for everyone to appreciate the most important woman in their life. Thanks to this brilliant offer making your Mum's day just got cheaper no matter where you need to call."

The discounted call rates are available to anybody who sign's up for a Tpad account downloads the free softphone and buys a minimum of $1 Tpad credit.

The cheap calls start from the moment the account is credited, Tpad are not imposing a minimum call amount that needs to be exceeded before the discounted rate kicks in. Each user will receive a maximum of 300 minuets at the cheaper rate.

Johns continued: "The joy of this offer is that unlike other VoIP providers we allow our customers to take advantage of Tpad's discounted rates from the very first call they make."

Tpad has launched a number of offers in recent weeks in an attempt to establish itself as a major player in the VoIP market. Alongside the Mother's Day offer they recently launched 13 new Break In numbers allowing people to call Tpad users through a normal phone while still enjoying low call charges.

"We want to make VoIP calling as easy, convenient and cheap as possible for our customers and this offer and the others alongside it are a key part of our strategy to do so," Johns added.
