Online advertiser MIVA secures new partnerships

27/02/2007 - MIVA, the online advertising network provider, has signed a number of new partner agreements across its global network of offices. As part of these agreements MIVA pay-per-click (PPC) ads will be displayed on the new partners' web sites.
Included in these agreements is a deal for in-text, PPC advertising with American news and press release distributor TransWorldNews, in addition a deal has been made with French automotive site Argusauto.com. Further agreements have been made with the Boursier.com, Sport1.de and MyVideo.de.

Peter Corrao, MIVA CEO, believes these deals demonstrate the forward steps the company has been taking and are a reflection of the esteem that MIVA is held in by its partners. "We believe we're building a good level of momentum following the signing of these new partner agreements. These are prestigious publishing brands across both the US and Europe and we believe the wins are a significant vote of confidence in our ability as online monetization experts," he said.

These new partner arrangements follow a similar search and content deal that MIVA announced last month with the UK based local newspaper producer Johnston Press. That agreement ensures that MIVA PPC adverts are displayed across over 300 national, regional and classified web sites.

PPC advertising has been shown as an effective way for those who are hosting their own sites to generate targeted leads to their website. Supanet Hosting is currently offering all customers who sign up for a paid hosting package a free £50 MIVA voucher.
