Fake 'Steve Jobs' blogger revealed

06/07/07 - The identity of an anonymous blogger who has been writing a blog that ridicules Apple CEO Steve jobs has been revealed. The New York Times has reported that a senior editor at Forbes magazine Daniel Lyons is the author.
The blog entitled 'The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs' has become a very popular item in the blogsphere and Forbes has revelaed that it will continue to appear on its website despite the author's identity being revealed.

Speaking to the New York Times Mr Lyons said: "I'm stunned that it's taken this long (to discover my identity)."

He also said that in order to "learn about a lot of the back story" he had to buy and read several books and biographies about Mr Jobs and Apple.

Writing as Steve Jobs on the blog Mr Lyons said: "Now you've ruined the mystery of Fake Steve, robbing thousands of people around the world of their sense of childlike wonder."

Both the real Steve Jobs and Bill Gates have admitted to reading the fake blog which has poked fun at numerous big players in the technology industry.

Met Office website crashes in snowstorm!
