Does anyone know how to create a subdomain?
By subdomain I mean:
http://example.bat-mania.co.uk (bat-mania.co.uk is my domain)

Thank-You!

You are able to add an A Record via your sites control pannel to add external sub domains. e.g.

Host = sub domain --> Adress = target IP.

You can also use the C Name record as an alias to an A record..

pop.domian translates into mail.domain..

I am afraid that our hosting package does not support multiple websites under one hosting package, as a result you can not point a sub domain at a directory within your hosting account.

I hope this helps

I want to make the subdomain point to a directory/file on my webspace. Can that be done by using the ip of the directory or something?

Where can I locate the ip adress/target ip?

Thanks.

I am afraid you can not point a sub domain at a directory, only the root.
