Hi,
Perhaps I'm thick or blind or maybe both!
Being new to all this, I've been advised to back up my site and database on a regular basis.
My site I believe is easy enough as I just have to reverse the ftp and save it to a folder on my hard drive.
However, how can I back up my database
I don't seem to be able to find any links to assist me with that
Also, I read that any downloaded backups should go through SSL.
1. Do you have an SSL availabilty?
2. Is it accessible to your clients?

The quickest method for you to be able to back up your website database, is to log on via admin control pannel, databses.. There is an export function that will allow you to save your data.
I hope this helps. - Posted on Friday, 30th November 2007 at 4:18pm
