i have just created my website over the weekend. i requested to have one of my pictures in the site template. the technician has informed me '' go to hosting administration then manage files this will list all the files on your web package the file that I have changed is called style.css ''
i have found this file but i do not know how to activate it into the template
Any suggestions on how this can be done by an absolute novice please - Posted on Tuesday, 20th November 2007 at 7:46pm

If you have not figured this out yet, you must replace the file "styles.css" with your new stylesheet.
The new file should be named "styles.css" so i suggest you rename the original to say "styles.old" then copy your new file into the site. The html files will then simply use the contents of the new file to determin page styles. - Posted on Tuesday, 5th February 2008 at 1:49am

Hi there hrfw!
I have been running a relatively simple web site, initially under the aegis of supanet, but now with PULSE. The site is :- brianb.me.uk.
When originally built, I made no use of style.css, but recently bit the bullet and had a go.
The next edition of my site (to be posted at the end of this month some time), I have made a small start in using stylesheets, and intend gradually to extend their use as I go.
My source of information is "XHTML in easy steps" published by Computer Step (ISBN 1-84078-125-4) which I have found most useful. - Posted on Sunday, 10th February 2008 at 1:17pm
