- Your ftp is working, you have to use your .co.uk address though as your .com is only a domain name. We have also pointed the .com address at your .co.uk hosting account. Whichever domain they enter into the browser will be displayed.

- We don't really support 3rd party ftp clients, its at the customers discretion whether they want to use 3rd party software to upload files. If you look in the topic "How to use an ftp clientâ€

File Zilla is working as we just tested it and the details you have been using are correct, its probably because of your firewall/anti virus software thats blocking FileZilla/WS FTP Pro etc... from working. Did you try and connect using the command prompt like we suggested in the previous post, this would illustrate the problem?
Your website is working in a browser, its showing the holding page at the moment, to view a different file append a /<the file name> on the end of the domain and you will be able to see your files.
e.g. http://www.wheresmrnuts.co.uk/<your file name>
To change the holding page you need to change the name of the file you want to display first when a user enters your domain in a browser and rename it to index.html. This will then load in a web browser. - Posted on Tuesday, 2nd October 2007 at 4:27pm

tried all that, command prompt says invalid command and no website pops up in the browser, says timed out as no connection to site.
turned off my firewall to. still the same.
may format my system and start again. - Posted on Wednesday, 3rd October 2007 at 12:33pm

That's rather strange, afraid we don't know what else to suggest. We assure you that your website is working in a web browser, if you have access to the Internet from a different machine you would see this (although you do need to upload some files) . As for the problems from your machine or reasons why it isn't working I'm afraid that is out of our scope and we wouldn't want to wrongly advise you to format your system and start again, there may be other ways to fix your problem.
Apologies we can't be of any further assistance. - Posted on Wednesday, 3rd October 2007 at 1:40pm
