Greetings,

I am looking to buy a domain name and a hosting service as well. I was curious about one thing though.

In the FAQ section on the site I could find no mention to uploading forums onto a created website.

I would like to know if forums can be uploaded to a website hosted by supanet and if so how? Do you have a facility to set up a forum or do we need to write the coding ourselves to do this?

Also, if you do provide a facility in which to create a forum, as the main user am I allowed to customise everything e.g. avatar / signature sizes (pixels and kb)

Sorry for asking what has probably been asked before and for being a bit of a noob hehe :)

Kind Regards,
Gaz

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to have a forum on our hosting platform, providing it is open source software. A popular forum used by our customers is...

http://www.phpbb.com

This site will explain the levels of customisation available.

Hi,

The best course of action to help you understand the installation and setup process is to read phpbb's own setup guide.
The manual can be found at: http://phpbb.com.

If you have any questions specific to the hosting service, we will be more than happy to answer them.
