- Do you know that you are the only company that I have used who is unable to do that. and I have used several hosts. I thinks perhaps you need to be a bit more flexible

We are aware that other companies may offer such a capability but insight of their security vulnerabilities and limitations we have chosen not to offer older versions of PHP and MySQL.
We are sorry for any inconveniences this causes you and we will do our best to help you with any workarounds.
Alternatively, if you want complete control of your server and it's services may we suggest considering a package from our dedicated hosting range. On here you may find something more suitable where you can use any version you like – no restrictions are in place.
