Domain Transfers

#1 by admin
The process of transferring a domain to us depends on the type of top level domain e.g. .co.uk or .com

If you would like to transfer a .uk domain you need to ask your current provider to change your IPSTAG to 'netlineuk' – this will transfer control of your domain over to us.

For (.COM .NET .ORG .INFO .BIZ) domains you need to ask your current hosting provider to supply you with an authorisation code, we require this code to initialise and authenticate the transfer.

Please inform of us of any transfers and please include the domain name in the notification.

Hi

I have the opposite request. I have two domains with you, and when one of them comes to the end of its current 12-month period I wish to move it to another provider. The other domain I wish to keep with you.

The domain I'm looking to move is http://www.fergs.net, so a top level domain. I can see the instructions form my new provider, but I see no way to do it on-line with you.

I need to have the ADMIN-C set to ian@fergs.net or if you feel that is dangerous to thefergs@gmail.com

I then need the domain to be set to "unlocked" or "active".

Now I don't want to do this before my 12 months is up with you. I do not remember when the 12 months began, and there seems to be no way to check on-line with you. Any help on telling me the date would be much appreciated too.

Thanks
Ian

Okay I wish to move http://www.fergs.net to a new provider.

I believe I need the ADMIN-C set to thefergs@gmail.com please.

I then need to have the account set to "unlocked".

Please can you email me at thefergs@gmail.com when this has been done.

Thanks
Ian

I have the auth code, thank you. The domain still looks to be locked though. I did a whois search and the details are shown below

Current Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, LLC.
IP Address: 213.40.79.217 (ARIN & RIPE IP search)
IP Location: UK(UNITED KINGDOM)-ENGLAND-LONDON
Record Type: Domain Name
Server Type: Other
Lock Status: clientTransferProhibited
Web Site Status: Active
DMOZ no listings
Y! Directory: see listings
Web Site Title: Football Finances
Secure: No
E-commerce: No
Traffic Ranking: Not available
Data as of: 22-Apr-2008

The Lock status implies that I cannot transfer the domain, do you still need to do something to set it as "unlocked".

Ok, why am i been trying for over 2 months to get my domain unlocked?

I am the webmaster for the site http://www.fordpower.org.uk and we changed to another provider in December.

Since then we are trying to get the domain unlocked , but it seems to be impossible.
Somehow the sales staff only want to transfer the domain TO pulse.

Please unlock the domain and send the authorisation codes to the owner of the site:

mr: Anthony Bingham
tony_mob@hotmail.co.uk

You can also send it directly to the new hosting provider : support@powweb.com
The site is hosted there and the old domain is redirected (as you can see in the admin control panel)

So then we can finally use the site properly.

You may also send them to me, but for security reasons it`s best to send them to the owner of the domain.

Your domain fordpower.org.uk has been expired you can call our billing department to get the renewal, also to transfer the domain to other provider you need to provide the tag for the new provider then we will release the domain to them.
