Unable to make my site live

#1 by trotmanfamily1
I am a Web Page novice struggling to get a simple page (via your Web Builder templates) on line. Despite several calls to Hosting Support, my domain TrotmanUnitWavePower.com has never gone live, and now following your new Supanet Hosting pages Master Log in, I am taken to an empty page. Help!!

The reason it is not working is because you had changed the A Records' IP addresses. We have now set these back to the initial IPs. It should now be working, you might not be able to see it immediately as you might be seeing a cached version. Once the cache clears your page will then be visible.

We are terribly sorry, when we corrected the IP addresses we did not change it to the right one. This has now been rectified and your website should now be visible.

Apologies again for your downtime.

Thanks for your reply. I can now use the Master Log in and view the site prior to making it live - the site is correct. However, on going to make your site live, and view your site, nothing appears. Also, the site does not appear searching the web at http://www.TrotmanUnitWavePower.com, my domain name. Further help required!!

Updating your website should be working, please can you try again?

Your site is visible in a browser if you enter your URL/domain into the address bar.

As for searching for your domain in Google and not receiving any results – you will have to talk to Google about this. They have things commonly called web crawlers or spiders which search the world wide web and update Google's database with new/updated sites that they come across during their searches. It could potentially take months for one of these crawlers to find your site.

To improve your chances of web crawlers finding your site, populate your meta date with many key words which users may type into a search engine when searching for information relevant to your site. You could also try and contact Google and see if they could add your details sooner. If users are using other search engines like Yahoo or MSN the same applies to them. They will have their own web crawlers which will take time to find your site.

There does not seem to be any problems with your site. It is viewable in a web browser. Please give more details if you are still encountering problems.
