Server Side Includes

We have just been migrated from the old server to the new server.
Our old site made extensive use of Server Side Includes (SHTML files) to create header, footer and index.
SSI does not seem to be enabled on the new server - is there anything I can do about this?
Really not looking forward to converting the whole site to PHP

- Unfortunately we don't allow Server Side Includes for security reasons, we hope you can appreciate this. We noticed that you have already rewritten the necessary parts using PHP instead. We apologise for your inconvenience.
